Understanding the MLB Moneyline Format
A moneyline shows up as a negative number or a positive number next to each team. The negative side — say -165 — tells you how much you'd need to wager to collect $100 in profit. The positive side — say +140 — tells you what $100 returns in profit. That gap between the two numbers is where the sportsbook holds its
margin. Our MLB odds board on winna pulls from live data, so when a starting pitcher scratches before first pitch in Las Vegas-area markets or anywhere else we serve, the line shifts in real time and you see the updated number before locking in.
